We all want to be remembered, to feel as if we made an
impact on the world, ultimately leaving a legacy behind where we have put our
own personal stamp on the future. For many of us this is often the driving
force behind achieving extraordinary things, or even modest goals, and we all
turn to mentors for a little inspiration in order to reach these objectives.
Hoping to inspire the young business and political entrepreneurs of the future,
The Glenlivet Single Malt Whisky hosted the first of three inspirational talks
on the 30th of September at Churchill’s Bar in Melrose Arch, Johannesburg with
leading businessman and whisky master, Andile Khumalo officially launching The
Glenlivet Legacy Talks with the host of the evening Azania Ndoro
When we got to the venue we were welcomed with The 12 year old glenlivet single malt whiskey and some delicious Canapés
“As a brand, we believe in the importance of showing our
consumers what the brand and legends are about, and Andile Khumalo embodies
just that - having single-minded determination and an irrepressible spirit.
There is no doubt that he has inspired the young entrepreneurs and business
people of the future, leaving his own
legacy, much like George Smith who created The Glenlivet, the Single
Malt Whisky which has left a legacy as the first licensed distillery in the
world,” remarked Mandla Holomisa, The Glenlivet Brand Manager. We also got to taste the Glenlivet 15 year old and get the story behind the distinct taste.
What would be an event without Jozis who's who's, here are the people we spotted at the event
