#BedfordProjectStyle BRINGS OUT MODELS OF ALL AGES, SHAPE AND SIZE
On the 4th of October 2014, Bedford Centre, one of
Johannesburg’s premier fashion and shopping destinations, turned average shoppers
and kiddies into runway stars, as ‘real’ models of all ages, shapes and sizes
took to the catwalk alongside some of South Africa’s leading models in the
ultimate accessible summer fashion show – #BedfordProjectStyle.
Hosted by the sensational Jeannie D, produced by renowned
international fashion show director Jan Malan, and curated by prominent
international stylist for the BAFTA’s, Royal Family and Celebrities - Sophia
Branch; the show gave shoppers including well-known celebrities Presenter Kass
Naidoo, Model Jacinda Louw-Schutte, Musician Itumeleng Konopi, Actress
Nthabiseng More and Presenter and Mr SA Finalist Clive Maistry; the opportunity
to find and refine their style and fashion voice.

“Our shoppers are connoisseurs of fashion, and the centre is
in fact styled by the evolving European-inspired brands that create it.
#BedfordProjectStyle was an opportunity for us to celebrate style by not only
showcasing the latest trends in partnership with our tenants in the mall, but
more importantly celebrate our loyal consumers, where Zelia Soares was randomly
selected to win a R50 000 Bedford Gift Card, makeover and personalised shopping
spree courtesy of the sensational stores in the centre,” explained Nikki
Savides, Marketing Manager for Bedford.
Apart from the fashion and accessories on offer, the Centre
teamed up with 1:Face Watch to give back to charity. The remarkable watch is
most certainly the new face of fashion, as it allows consumers to give back to
a chosen charity through the purchase of a colour of watch, pink for breast
cancer, black for cancer, red for aids, yellow for education, and white for
hunger - the list goes on.
