This weekend we attended the Burger King launch in Hatfield Pretoria,
there was so much excitement surrounding the launch, it was the first burger
king in PTA, what a whooper day it was making it the 18th Burger
King in South Africa.

Pretoria citizens were entertained buy top local DJs, Twins
on Deck, DJ Capital, Tymless Kutcha and Chris Beats while they waited patiently
to experience the BURGER KING menu.
The 80-seater store, located in the heart of Pretoria, was
buzzing with devoted WHOPPER fans who braved the winter cold to come experience
Burger King for the first time.
Of course we also got a chance to experience Burger King;
the hardest part was choosing a meal from their wide variety menu.
We decided to order the double whooper burger (R33.50), with King fries (R10.00),
king wings (R19,00), King shake (R13.50) and onion rings(R16.00).
The reason they are called Burger King, is because their
burgers are massive, one of the biggest burgers I’ve seen and the prices are
affordable.
Taste
The taste is different from any burgers I have tasted, the
problem I have with their burgers is their dry taste, its missing something
(not a burger expert) like sauce or something. Their wings are very nice and onion
rings are to die for.
For dessert we ordered King chocolate sundae (R12.00) and hot chocolate
brownie, the chocolate sundae which was
very nice enjoyed it.
The hot chocolate brownie with ice cream is delicious and warm, topped with the burger king
ice cream, I had a foodgasm (Foodie talk). It comes highly recommended.
The service
The service is top notch; we didn’t spend more than 5minutes
at the counter.

The Hatfield store is located at Shop B3, 1066 corner of
Hilda and Burnett Street, Hatfield, Pretoria. It will operate from 10am to 10pm
Sunday to Wednesday, and from 10am to 2am on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
