MUSIC: WIZ KHALIFA TO PERFORM IN SA ALONGSIDE NAS AND TIMBALAND

Just when we thought that the castle lite extra cold music concert couldn't get any bigger, Castle lite announced just announced on their social media pages that American rapper Wiz Khalifa will be performing at the Star studded event, taking place at Supersport park (centurion) on the 7th of June 2014 to find out more about the concert Click here .The black and yellow hit maker twitted the wonderful news on Thursday and twitter went crazy with excitement over the incredible news.

For those of you who are still staying under a rock and don’t know who Wiz Khalifa is here are some fast facts about wiz khalifa
  1.   Wiz Khalifa was born in North Dakota to a dad who was in the military.  He moved to Germany, England, and Japan before settling in the Pittsburgh.
  2.  Wiz Khalifa is NOT his real name.  It’s actually Cameron Jibril Thomaz.  He was called “the wiz” was a nickname growing up because he was such a “wiz” at everything he attempted.
  3.    His married to model Amber Rose (best known for her high profile relationship with rapper Kanye West). Wiz tattooed the name of Rose on his hand (as Drake would say Tat my name so I know it’s real.) and Amber has Wiz’s entire face inked right onto the inside of her forearm (hsssh). Last year the pair was blessed with a baby boy named Sebastian Taylor Thomaz.
  4. Wiz made his acting debut with Snoop in the 2012 stoner movie Mac and Devin Go to High School. The pair also wrote and recorded the soundtrack, which featured the hit single "Young, Wild & Free."
  5. Wiz got his first tat when he was only 16
  6.  Khalifa is open about his use of cannabis, and he has claimed in many interviews that he spends $10,000 (R104735.00) a month on cannabis, and also smokes daily.
  7. Wiz khalifa biggest song to date is still “Black and yellow” followed by “no sleep”



The lineup already consists of some well-known international acts like Grammy award winning producer Timbaland and Nas .A host of South Africa’s most talented local artists including multiple SAMA award winning Mi Casa, Spoek Mathambo, Black Coffee, Zakes Bantwini, Reason, and DJ Clock with Beatenberg will be performing at this once in a lifetime musical experience.

Tickets for the Extra Cold Music concert are now on sale.  Early bird tickets are priced at R350 per person (general access only) and are limited.  Thereafter ticket prices range from general access at R440 to VVIP at R1500.
