THINGS GET EXTRA COLD IN EPISODE 4 OF ULTIMATE HOUSE VIBE!

This week’s episode of Castle Lite and Mzansi Magic’s Ultimate House Vibe has been regarded as one of the best episodes of the entire franchise thus far, shooting up the trends list in less than 10 minutes of the show’s airing.

It was an epic episode if ever there was one. With this week’s theme being Material Culture, the King of the Skhothane movement, and the reigning Ultimate House Vibe King, Material Don Dada made a celebrity appearance as a guest judge. Don was there to judge the host’s ability throw an epic Ultimate House Vibe that is dripping with extra cold swag.

Damien and Mbali went head-to-head as this week’s hosts; with Mbali winning the Unlocks Challenge after Damien deliberately lost the challenge, a choice that probably cost him the competition. Meanwhile, Noxolo and Mbali Dlamini were unhappy to be on team Damian and later became a big factor in the dismal performance of the team.

Damian threw his vibe for his twin brother, but nothing went according to plan. All of the friend he bragged about were nowhere to be found when he needed them to show up as he planned his vibe with almost none of them answering their phones. Team Damian fought and bickered with each other all day long and in the end, the vibe was a disaster. There was no food, no décor, the sound and the chairs came late, and very few people actually stuck to the theme. To top it all off, his friends failed to pitch up in their numbers.

Meanwhile, Mbali hosted a decent vibe but, as the judges point out, she won the week by default as Damian’s vibe was just that bad. Her team gelled well together which led to a well-executed vibe. Although it was cold, the judge’s loved Mbali’s Vaal River venue and her choice of décor.

In the end, the judges felt that 2 people deserved to go home this week after Damian threw what was described as “the worst vibe in the history of the show”. Damien was first into the bottom 3 as the host of the week. He was followed by Lamza as voted for by fellow team mates and then Mbali, who was dragged down by Damian.

In the end, the vibe came to an end for Damian and Mbali who were sent packing with judges more than pleased at Damian’s departure but torn apart at having to choose between Mbali and Lamza.

Things can only get colder in the Ultimate House Vibe mansion as the remaining 7 contestants bring out their A-game and fight ferociously for the title of Ultimate House Vibe king or queen. But who will walk away with R150 000 in cash?

Tune in every week to follow the journey. Ultimate House Vibe airs every Thursday at 21:30 on Mzansi Magic (DStv channel 161) with the repeats on Saturdays at 22:00 on Mzansi Magic and on Mondays at 19:00 on Channel O (DStv channel 320).
