BECKS LAUNCHES A BEER FOR EVOLVING EXPLORERS, BECK’S GREEN

Iconic German beer brand, Beck’s and AB InBev are giving South African consumers more options by introducing an alcohol variant to their beer collection. Having grown in popularity amongst South African beer lovers, Beck’s is renowned for its uncompromising quality as well as the freedom and openness which follow a firm quality of standards and the consistency to be a characterful beer.

Beck’s is looking to stray off the course of the ordinary and follow the extraordinary by introducing a 660ml alcoholic variant of the beer to the Mzansi market. “Beck’s Green is a beer that is enjoyed by what we have coined ‘evolving explorers’; visionaries who are not afraid to find their authentic voice, tell their stories and unwind in exciting places of interest” said Beck’s Brand Director, Grant Pereira.

“To really get this campaign off the ground, we have partnered with some really influential figures in South Africa with whom we are truly excited to undertake this journey of extraordinary experiences with,” adds Pereira.

The brand launched Beck’s Green at a glittering event held at the home of an iconic broadcasting power, Kaya House, the home of Kaya FM. In attendance were campaign ambassadors: Entrepreneur, Model and TV Presenter, Maps Maponyane who recently launched a famous burger bar – “Buns Out”; South African child star, Dr Musa Mthombeni, who doubles up as a media personality and qualified medical practitioner; additionally the brand has also partnered with Bohang Moeko who is a Model, Actor and finalist in the Mr South Africa 2013 pageant. These three young men are perfect figures who inspire other men and are recognized for their work ethic and ability to stand out from the ordinary.

As the world observes International Men’s Month this November, we as Beck’s also revealed their partnership with the “Home of the Afropolitan”, Kaya FM to create a platform during Tbose’s popular show –  Platinum Fridays where listeners can engage with the three personalities to discuss how they have successfully set themselves apart while staying true to who they are. The station programs will cover a range of topics relating to men including enterpreneurship, wealth, stealth, health and more.

Beck’s Green is also proud to announce that we are running two competitions for consumers which will see 10 lucky winners walk away with Hugo Boss watches valued at R6 000 each. Plus, 1 lucky winner will bag the ultimate hospitality experience at the 2019 Cape Town Sevens while luxuriating inside of their very own #UnfollowOrdinary suite with three of his/her friends. The all-expenses paid trip is valued at a whopping R150 000.
