Riky Rick joins prestigious artists on the 2015 Cape Town Nu World Festival line-up
KwaMashu-born Rikhado Makhado, popularly known as Riky Rick aka
Bosso Zonke, will join over 27 artists at this year’s Cape Town Nu World
Festival over the Mandela Day weekend, 17-18 July.
The accomplished producer, writer, rapper and actor has had a phenomenal year and has enjoyed major success with hit singles “Nafukwa”, “Amantombazane”, “Boss Zonke” and most recently "Sondela
".
His fusion of South African kwaito and hip-hop has made him a
sought after producer and performer. With two nominations for the 2014
Channel O Africa Music Awards, four nominations for the 2014 South African Hip
Hop Awards and one nomination for the 2014 South African Music Awards, his
talent is undoubtedly a force to reckon with!
The final line-up for Cape Town Nu World Festival includes the
greats, the talented, the wild and the wise. his festival is one not to miss!
The concert, which will be held at the Cape Town City Hall, is a
celebration that aims to bring together people in the shared enjoyment of live
inspiring music. This year’s line-up includes: Simphiwe Dana, Kanda Bongo Man
(DRC), Mokoomba( Zimbabwe), Dunkelbunt (Austria), Majozi, Paul Waxon, Elemotho
