EVENT REVIEW: 4TH STREET JET SETTERS

4th street wine invited us to the biggest party to hit Johannesburg last week at Rand airport. The invite only soiree themed #Jetsetters saw some of Jozi trendy jet setters braving the Joburg cold and putting on their best outfits for another great night.

We were curious to what was going to happen that night because during the week The Girl about Town PR team and 4th street delivered an invite that contained a pink passport and 4 flight tickets, which didn’t help ease the curiosity it just heightened it even more.

We donned our best outfits and made our way to rand airport driven by Ubers which the 4th street team was kind enough to provide everyone with a free ride for the night. We were welcomed to the event by a pink carpet which lead to the check in point.

We got to the entrance of the venue which had a layout similar to an airport check-in port where we took pictures for our passports and we went to the door where two promoters dressed in security uniforms checked us in.

After the short check-in process we went inside the venue and it had a layout that resembled an airport lounge they even managed to have the “airport voice” which throughout reminded us that we had 20 minutes till take of time while we waited we were treated to some finger food and some 4th street wine to keep us entertained.

It was finally time to depart and everyone was ready for “Lift-off” with the venue décor looking absolutely breath-taking with the amazing set-up that consisted of a set up that had the actual aeroplane sits, a dance floor and a huge stage.
The set-up

The biggest highlight was when we saw 4 bars in the venue and each bar had a destination attached in front Milan, New York, Ibiza and Rio de Janeiro. When you visit each bar it had its own theme food and special themed drinks from that certain country. No doubt everyone’s favourite had to be New York the drinks and food was just simple yet delicious.
