Event review: Castle lite Republic Of Extra Cold Embassy Event

Castle Lite unlocked an extraordinary experience last night at Republic Of Extra Cold Embassy Event at NASREC.

After months of anticipation with the Fomo slowly creeping in we finally made our way to the event. The evening kicked off with a warm welcome from the hosts for the evening; the ever s sexy Nomuzi Mabena and funny man Toll A$$ Mo who both managed to do a great job keeping everyone entertained throughout the night with a bit of humour and sexiness from Nomuzi’s side.

Thousands of fans witnessed the local acts on 4 different stages, as Castle Lite unlocked each stage to give event goers incredible experiences.

We were promised an extra cool night and that’s what everyone got that night; we got to witness our favourite acts from MVD, BoysNBucks, the beautiful soulful singer Moneao who held her own being the only female performer on stage that day, Culoe de Song. let’s give a special mention to Black motion who out did themselves with a special performance that had the crowd losing their minds and dancing along to their unique showcase that saw them playing with instruments and also show casing their dance moves on stage.

It was finally time for the moment everyone was waiting for to crown the new president of the republic of extra cold. Pearl Thusi managed to retain her title beating out Sizwe Dlomo and Dj Waras to clinic The president of the republic extra cold title. Congratulations.

After the big announcement it was time for the show to continue with the man of the moment Cassper Nyovest who performed alongside Major league to shut down the event. He gave the crowd an extraordinary performance with his famous hits from Doc Shebeleza to Phumakim.

The Republic of Extra Cold winter experience will be held at Stanley Island in Plettenberg bay on 11 July 2015 to select Castle Lite Citizens, you don’t want to miss it.
