The country’s longest-running comedy awards event, the Savanna Comics’
Choice Awards, honours registered comedians across nine categories. The
Savanna Audience Choice Award is the only category that’s open to public vote.
That means you decide who will win and take home the coveted Waldo statuette.
It also means you could win a VIP experience to the awards simply by
voting. The winner will get two double tickets to the awards show, dinner at
Montecasino to the value of R500, a chance to sashay down the yellow carpet
with celebs, comedians and media and access to the after party.
So how do you vote (and win)? Easy:

see all the registered comedians
2. SMS the unique code of your favourite comedian to the voting line –

Themed around a big “5th Birthday Bash”, the Savanna
CCA’s is marking this milestone by throwing the funniest birthday party of the
year – with a few extras thrown in. Alan Committee will be directing
the show, so who knows what may happen. And for the first time ever
the Savanna CCA’s will be broadcast on Mzansi Magic, the awards’ TV partner.
Voting opens on Thursday 21 May 2015, so make your mark for comedy.
