As
the last sms said “#ElevatedExperienceJHB Meet us at 19:30 for 20:00 at Level three,
14AKramer road Sandton, Johannesburg to be part of the blue carpet and ultimate
Elevated Experience” that’s when we knew the takeoff is near. As one of the
pack to reach the venue with blue lights dimming the walk on the carpet leading
to the entrance, we were greeted by air hostess looking ushers and our names as
passports being double checked in, it was time to take our seats and buckle up
as the SKYY Vodka plane was ready for lift off.
Exclusivity
of the occasion became visible with acknowledgement of media personalities,
executives and Jo’Hustle’Burg Socialites with chats, introductions and exchange
of contacts.
TBO Touch
All the networking was cut short by TBO Touch voice introducing
Cash Times front man K.O President of the Skhanda Republic, with the Caracara
beat on Kid X introduction saw the crowd rapped along. Not only that we got a surprise
performance from the Skanda queen herself Nomozi.

Time left us mesmerized wasn’t long enough till we switched to the BoyZ and
Bucks member Ricky Ricky. Ricky hit tracks got those who were indulging in the
breath taking views of the roof top come rushing down that’s what Boss Zonke
do, Its do too easy.

It
was time for the self-proclaimed king of SA hip hop AKA to hit the stage, The
Super Mega lived up to expectations by delivering a polished performance
combined with singing and dancing to puzzle his raptor. We experienced a polite
Aka with giving gratitude to those who graced the stage, drinking a fans glass
but till one lady pulled jump on stage the performance was stopped.
The minute
halt made him give a happy ending with coming back for one last track.
Vigilante was on the decks the night seemed young the clock was disagreed but
the dancing continued to sum up the night.
