New stages and artists added for DRUMbeat 2015
With just 3days to go to this
year’s Drum beat musical experience, they pulling out all the stops. To ensure that nobody misses out on the
incredible line-up, this year’s Toyota Corolla DRUMBeat Concert has changed the venue layout
and has added two more artists to its all-star line-up.
The Soweto Theatre will now
showcase talent across 3 outdoor stages. Talent includes jazz legends
Jonas Gwangwa and Paul Hanmer, soulful house trio Mi Casa and the king of
hip-hop Cassper Nyovest. Joining the already announced line-up are Funi
and Tresor Riziki.

Tresor Riziki is an award-winning and multi-platinum selling
DRC-born singer and songwriter. Tresor’s first language is music, but he
is fluent in English, French and Swahili. Tresor has performed alongside Eddie Grant, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Freshlyground, Prime
Circle, Vusi Mahlasela, Lira, HHP, Johnny Clegg and more.
His debut
single, Complete, received rave reviews and was picked up by major radio
stations and TV stations across Africa. Tresor collaborated with singing
sensation Zahara on Limbisa and Brighter Day. Tresor’s latest offering,
