Virgin Mobile is calling on all South Africans to share the beauty of their individual voices and stand a chance to star in their own professionally produced music video.
The Virgin Mobile Share the Beauty of Voice competition has officially kicked off nationally with an introduction and call for entries from Virgin’s own Sir Richard Branson. Look out for popular YFM breakfast show host DJ Ankle Tap, who will also be leading the call for entries.

2015 could be the breakout year for all aspiring songsters as Virgin Mobile celebrates the beauty of voice in all its forms. ‘’Music is a universal language for South Africa’s youth as it gives them a voice and an opportunity for expression. Virgin Mobile’s Share the Beauty of Voice competition seeks to unearth local voices and offer them a platform to live their passion and be heard,’’ says Vanda Harries, Virgin Mobile South Africa Head of Brand and Communications.

To enter simply record a clip featuring an individual or band performing a favourite song. Upload this clip via the Virgin Mobile Facebook App or drop off entries at any Virgin Mobile store countrywide. For a full list of Virgin Mobile stores in South Africa visit www.virginmobile.co.za.
The winner will be selected by a panel of judges, including the music experts at YFM, and announced in March 2015. Running between 15 December 2014 and the 28 February 2015, the ultimate Virgin Mobile Share the Beauty of Voice winner will receive a professionally produced music video – just the thing to kick start a musical career. In addition the winner will also receive a mentoring opportunity with an industry expert as well as a brand new smartphone with a two-year airtime contract from Virgin Mobile.
