REDDS STREET CARNIVAL LAUNCH

On the 2nd October 2014 Sir James venue in Kramerville Sandton was transformed into a Carnival area for the media launch of the highly anticipated Redd’s street carnival set to take South Africa by storm. The Redd’s will be taking their street carnivals to various cities starting with Bloemfontein which the carnival took place last week Friday then Durban this weekend.
Invited guests were treated to a one of a kind experiences at the media launch where we took a journey through the various cities without even stepping a foot out of Johannesburg, it was all under one roof. With dancers strolling around bringing back memories of last year’s Redd’sexperience

Guests enjoyed some refreshing Redd’s and delicious themed food while enjoying some entertainment by the likes of Major league deejays and rapper Ricky Rick who managed to keep the crowd entertained and on their feet the whole night.

SAB’s General Manager of the Flavoured Alcoholic Beverages (FAB) portfolio Micah Naidoo said the brand was inspired by people’s love for the idea of street carnival. “We hope to bring communities together in true Redd’s style by celebrating the people, places and music together.  Carnival is the ideal event to celebrate the wonderful diversity of culture and talent in our beautiful country.”

Just when everyone thought the night couldn’t get any more awesome Redd’s announced their competition called carnival spinner where people had to tweet to enter into a competition to stand a chance to win either an all expenses trip to Durban and Cape Town to experience the Redd’s street carnival or the big one everyone wanted a chance to win a year’s supply of Redd’s. Unfortunately The Guide Team didn’t win anything.

The venue was buzzing with various media outlets from television, print and bloggers capturing every moment while mingling with some of South Africa’s celebrities.
Denise From V entertainment interviewing Lunga, she had to be one of the best dressed of the night, only she can pull of such an outfit.
KNaomi being interviewed by Sinzo for RGB

It was good seeing Sinazo in colour, the past two events we saw her she was in black, though i wish the dress could have been shorter, it was a carnival after all, but she can't do no wrong.

Musician Chad Saaiman went for the uber cool look.

Maps decided to rock up in a suit #FixItJesus, we managed to get a glimpse of his Girlfriend
Isn't she beautiful

Thank you to Capacity Relations for the event and taking care of us through the night and thank you Redd’s for the wonderful experience cannot wait to catch one of the street carnivals.
