VIDEO OF THE WEEK: Aloe Blacc - The Man (Explicit)

"The Man" is a song by American singer-songwriter
Aloe Blacc (hits include “I need a dollar” and “wake me up with Avicii). First
included on his EP Wake Me Up, the song was later released as the second single
from his third studio album Lift Your Spirit by Interscope Records. Songwriting
is credited to Blacc, the track's producers DJ Khalil and Romeo Miller, Sam
Barsh, Daniel Seeff, Elton John and Bernie Taupin; the latter two are credited
for the song's sampling of the refrain "And you can tell everybody"
from John's 1970 hit "Your Song", which John and Taupin wrote.

The song has become Blacc's most successful single as a solo
artist to date; it has sold over a million copies in the United States as of
February 2014[1] and peaked at number 8 on the US Billboard Hot 100. It also
topped the UK Singles Chart and reached the top ten in Australia and New
Zealand.
