MUSIC: JOHN NEWMAN LIVE IN CONCERT CONFIRMS STELLAR LOCAL LINEUP

Virgin Mobile, 5FM and Seed Experiences are excited to announce the local lineup that will support UK modern soul sensation, John Newman, when he tours South Africa for the first time later this month. ISO will be performing in Cape Town and Beatenberg in Joburg alongside the four-time BRIT Award nominee.

John Newman’s smash hit singles ‘Losing Sleep’, ‘Love Me Again’ and ‘Cheating’ have been on high rotation on 5FM and around the country, and fans are eagerly anticipating what promises to be a sizzling, roaring, swinging concert experience.

Having just released their new EP ‘Passages’, ISO will perform an extra special set, which fits the “big sound, big style” theme of the concert at the Good Hope Centre. "John Newman is an inspiration to us and it's such an honour to open for him. It's always a pleasure to see a musician of such a young age do such great things in the music industry. We can't wait!" says Richard Brokensha, front man for ISO. DJ Honey Bee will complement ISO and John Newman with their electro-swing beats throughout the evening.

In Joburg, Beatenberg will bring their smooth performance along with their smash hit track, ‘Pluto(Remember You)’ which has taken the country by storm reaching #1 across the airwaves. These local favourites will be complimented by swing-master DJ Michael Lesar who will be on the decks throughout the night playing his blend of swing-based beats for the audience to jive to!

John Newman’s live performance has been regarded as one of the best visual shows in the world at the moment. As with every Seed Experiences event, the production on the night will be world class and will offer fans of this new voice of modern soul an extraordinary night of hit music, stunning visual effects and the most swinging party.
