Music: Timbaland is heading to SA for concert
Grammy Award winning rapper and music
producer Timbaland is coming to South Africa for what promises to be an
“extraordinary musical experience”.
The number one producer in the world,
Timbaland was acclaimed as Billboard Magazine's Song Writer of the Decade in
2011. Castle Lite could not have obtained a better collaborator to exclusively
produce a stage music experience like no other - the Extra Cold Music Concert
Edition.
Scheduled to take place on 7 June 2014, the
concert will showcase the next generation in music experiences, featuring the
hottest international acts alongside a host of South African artists.
In a TV interview with Castle Lite General
Manager, Andrea Quaye, two weeks ago, Timbaland said: “I am going to show the
hottest South African artists. You can’t just tell the artists what to do. You
need to show them how it’s done.”
On why South Africa, he said: “I like to
venture outside where I come from (Virginia, NY). For me going to South Africa
is a big statement, not just for the country but even for me personally.”

For more than 20 years, Timothy

The concert will be held in Johannesburg.
