STR CRD 2012 BIGGER AND BETTER

Its that time of the year for another revating urban culture fanatic that is known as STR CRD-the leading urban youth culture event in fashion, music, sneakers, graffiti, skate and dance in Africa – returns to the revamped Maboneng Precinct in downtown Johannesburg.

Street Cred was launched with an exciting blogging expose – so even those not living in Gauteng can be part of it. Follow the blogs of “Mzansi’s Most Popular” a first in South Africa, as 4 blogging crews (PE, CPT, DBN, JHB) simultaneously duel it out on the “interweb”, to see who can gain the most followers and be crowned the most prolific street bloggers.

The event is taking place from 27-30 September 2012, STR.CRD will open on Thursday with the exclusive, invite-only HGH.STR – a gallery-style fashion presentation that focuses on bespoke and exclusive products. On Friday and throughout the weekend, partnering brands will launch their Spring Summer 2012\2013 campaigns, and will have pop-up shops with limited edition collections available for purchase.
