puma new store launch in braamfontin

So on Friday the 25th august 2012 I attended the new puma store launch which was held at corner de kotze and melle street in Braamfontein, this marked the 2nd official design of the PUMA International’s new Retail 2.0 store design launched in early 2011 in Berlin, with the new system now being rolled out in all major global markets, including the PUMA Canal Walk store which was the first store in Africa to undergo this latest facelift.
The new PUMA Store in Braamfontein will also be equipped with the new store design, but it’s also going to have additional store elements such as a PUMA Social area and DJ mixing station, a peep show to surprise shoppers in the change-rooms, and an unSMARTphone.
PUMA South Africa’s Marketing Director Brett Bellinger said “PUMA is very excited to open our first PUMA Store in the Johannesburg area. We have carefully selected Braamfontein for this venture as we believe the mix of students and hipsters perfectly fits the offering that we have at the Puma store”.
The event was organized by my favorite PR and communications company splash PR. In order to create a buzz around the event they used social media platforms like twitter where people had to hush tag #pumaDigsEgoli. In the crowd managed to spot some of jozis socialites, celebrities and many bloggers were in attendance like famous blogger Mika Stefano. The event was well organized and all the performers did a splendid job and the speeches were kept short and right to the point.       me too hey its not just a store its a lifestyle, where you can also hangout, they have the dj booth to keep students entertained
