Annual Street Food Festival with NOLA a sensational success

The annual  Street   Food  Festival held in Cape Town and Johannesburg during September saw masses of hungry visitors flocking back to the popular festival and it being another sensational success this year. Multiply Invites Athletes of All Ages and Abilities to Rise to the Challenge

An obstacle course race like no other, the Multiply Adventure Challenge, will be taking place on Saturday, the 8 th  of September at Riversands Farm Village in Midrand. Everyone, from adrenaline junkies and sports fanatics, to gym enthusiasts and non-athletic adventurous spirits are invited to take part in this fast-paced, spectator-friendly event.  The 3.5km race has been carefully planned by experts from Warrior Race, who have spearheaded the meteoric rise of obstacle racing in South Africa. To ensure that everyone can get in on the fun, they’ve created three courses, each with a different number of obstacles - the  Extremist  with 25, the  Brave  with 22 and the  Apprentice  with 15. Soweto Sun and Brooklyn Nets dominate Jr. NBA Johannesburg League 2018 finals

The  Jr. NBA Johannesburg League2018 finals took place on Sunday, 9 September at St Peters College. The action-packed league was brought together in partnership with Ford South Africa.  It was a closely fought battle for the championship trophy for both the female and male teams. In the female finals, it was the Soweto Sun battling it out against the Phoenix Mercury. The Debutants in the final - team Soweto Sun, brought their fighting spirt to the game and walked away victorious.  The boy’s final was just as riveting, the tip-off was between the Brooklyn Nets taking on the San Antonio Spurs. The Brooklyn Nets led throughout the game and eventually to the Jr. NBA Johannesburg League trophy.
