ARTIST PROFILE: DJ INIFINIX-THE BOSS LADY OF HOUSE


With a limited number of female house DJ’s in S.A, the 25 year old hailing from Uitenhage in Eastern Cape.
Infinix is one of the females who has challenged herself out of the comfort zone and familiarised herself with the technicalities of CDJ’s and mixers and more significantly with the house music genre.she Always wanted to be a singer but the influence of house music and djs around her shifted her  interest a bit and from then on she focused more on the djing side, only now is she working on her vocal side of my career.She describes music as a moving art in which allows people to express their feelings.


Her major influences in house music are Black Coffee, Atjazz, Monique Bingham and the legendary Louie Vega. “Music makes my life more colourful than it is, without it I can’t stay content and I find balance in music” says Infinix.
Not only does she DJ but Infinix also has an astounding voice that she often lays on greatly produced melodies with various local
producers and is set to take her career as a vocalist to a whole new level. Having also put S.A on the map by representing it on a
Ghanaian two week tour, Infinix is undoubtedly on a mission to change the face of house music with respect to female DJ’s.
